Spooky Season Duo Pack

I bought this on Black Friday, but I wanted to give it some time to write a review (and kind of forgot in the mean time). I love it, the mattes blend so easily and the shimmers are working great with my oily eyelids. my favourite shades are the purples and that beautiful blood moon red.
also, as someone who is not fond of orange as a colour (and that makes 3/18 shades in the palette), I surprisingly quite liked the first two orange shades ("WITCHING HOUR", "HAUNTED HAPPENINGS"). "HARVEST MOON" is a bit too intense for me, but I can incorporate it and make it work, even with my cool toned complexion.
one small UI/UX complaint: the text for "SPIRITS & SPELLS" and "OLD BURYING POINT" has a white font on a light orange background and is sometimes hard to read (depending on my lighting as well).

This is a LOOOONG ONE. Consider yourself warned. ;) When I saw this on my IG feed, I about had a heart attack! My bestie and I are GOING to SALEM this October. I had recently gotten rid of some old pallettes as well and I deserved this special treat. Nomad thought so too because they gave me a $10 off coupon. ;) Thanks Nomad! Anywho, as a longtime buyer of makeup of all kinds, this is the first time I have purchased from Nomad. I received my palette TONIGHT which was tracked the whole way here, let me know it was not going to be here yesterday as first expected, and also left Nomad almost as soon as I had purchased it (I want to say it was the next day, sort of, because I ordered this thing at Midnight. So some of us are Night Owls/Witches/Whatever...It arrived VERY carefully packaged to include a nice fat bubble wrap envelope. From the box to the palette itself, this thing is GORGEOUS! Love the Lenticular picture on the front, both come through SIPER clear and colorful. AMAZEBALLS with that. The ONLY thing I don't really care for about this palette, but yet understand at the same time, as Nomad, while a good sized company I am sure (because I HAVE heard of them for years), I believe they are still what is considered an "Indie" brand and so is not a "Big box" almost unlimited funds, company. Kudos to you for that Nomad. Anywho, I digress, I don't like that this is a cardboard pallete. That's for a few reasons, before anyone gets their "dander up." One is, I'm a messy person. Generally where I use my palettes is the sink area, and sink's and counters around them tend to get wet. Even if I did dry it, there is always the potential for water to be unseen somewhere and damage the palette. Another is, after some use, the inside of palettes tend to get a bit MORE colorful, meaning shadow gets on other parts of the pallete, and w/cardboard, this can be hard to clean easily. Also, for the price, and I have paid this for palettes before, I generally expect that nice hard plastic casing. However, due to the theme meaning so much to me and the fact that the colors were just VERY appealing to me, AND I feel they fit with the theme quite well, AND I received that $10 off (first time buyer), I couldn't pass it up. EXCELLENT Marketing Nomad! I WISH I could share pics here as well because I swatched this "Witchy Woman" almost immediately. Also for 2 reasons. 1. I was too excited not too. and 2. If I had left it alone long, I was afraid I would never touch it. The detailing on each color is so magnificent. Best on ANY of my palettes yet (And I HAD and have, a LOT of palettes). Now, mind you, I haven't tried this out on my eyes yet. Tune in tomorrow... :). Anywho, From swatching alone I discovered she is DEFINITELY pigmented. Both in the glitters/shimmers AND the mattes. So much so that I washed my arm THREE times to clean it off. After the first 2 washes, MOST of the color was still there from every shade. Then, I got smart. Hehehe. I'm a double cleanser, when I wash my face (As I mentioned, I'm a makeup wearer). So I used my oil based cleanser with the warmest water I could stand and really scrubbed it in good and MOST of it finally came off. This may cause SOME people to worry about it staining their eyelids. I, being 40 something tend to get creasing later in the day so I'm hoping the STAYING power of this formula will help with that. When I do need to take it off, I will gently rub in my oil based remover first, let it sit awhile, rub it in again with water, and rinse all off and then go in with my 2nd cleanser and I feel it will do just fine. If not, I'll be the test dummy and let yall know. :). If I had to pick a favorite color from this palette, I can't, I narrowed it down to 3 though. The Crucible, Seven Gables, and Witching Hour. All for different reasons. Obviously. Also, I mentioned earlier that I had heard of Nomad for years. That is true. I never heard anything bad either, I just was purchasing from a lot of other companies, both Indie and others, and I just couldn't add another palette by the time I found them. This time I was ready! Thank you Nomad for your marketing and cosmetic skills. I am already wanting others. Can't wait to try this one on for size. Last, though not least, how cool is it that Nomad And Panthera made it so easy to support a great cause like Panthera, simply by buying a palette?! Makes me feel great! Great color pigmentation, very easy to blend. My favourite shades are Old Burying Point and Howling Halloween. Shimmer formula is great, very shimmery. I love the imprints in the shades. The palette is heavy and very well made. The quality is great.

So beautiful!! Came packaged really well. I personally love the packaging and I’m so glad this has many Halloween color options!

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter. I know she will love it.

Such a fun palette and color story. The mattes are neutral-cool, and I love how muted the shades are while still being very pigmented. The packaging is sturdy and so fun! This is a very wearable palette and you can easily create cohesive looks. The shadows are also comfortable to wear on my eyelids.

One of the shimmers is too warm-toned for me (Copper Penny), but that's due to preference because I have cool undertones. They're all gorgeous nonetheless. The shimmers aren't quite as sparkly with a wet look as my Blend Bunny ones (Garden of Stars), but I still enjoy them. My favorite shimmer shades are Ghost Train, Quicksilver, Garnet, MT, and Calico, CA.

I'm excited to try more palettes from Nomad! I have Chamonix and Chicago Speakeasy on my wishlist, and I'm also intrigued by the New Zealand Stargazing one

Thank you Nomad for replacing my broken palette!!! The palette is beautiful and I know I will enjoy using it this fall season. I’m looking forward to the new releases this holiday season.

The pigment is bendable and intense! Such good palette :).

Dissatisfied with how the product was packaged. The eyeshadow palette came in a large box with very little cushion to prevent damage. Due to the poor packaging, an eyeshadow arrived broken. I have ordered from Nomad in the past and have never experienced this kind of negligence with packaging.

Woooow, very impressed. Fist time trying Nomad formula. Ver pigmented, easy to blend. Shimmers are very impactful. Definitely will buy more palettes.

This is one of my ultimate fav pallets out of my collection

I live in an 1870's silver mining town, so the minute I saw this Nomad ghost town collection, I had to have it. All of the colors are beautiful, and perfectly named.

I've been wanting this palette so bad that I ordered it even though I live outside the US. Couldn't wait till my trip to Boston. This palette is an absolute jewel! From the packaging to the color story and formula! Also the color story is peeeerfect as a transition from summer to fall! I am absolutely in love.

I love the cool colors. One of the shades is almost a duochrome. The mattes aren't patchy and blend well. I also really like the way the palette is laid out and that there are an equal number of mattes and shimmers. I will be getting a lot of use out of this palette. Thanks Nomad.

I believe this pallet is very neutral with perfect glitter shades and matte shades.
I enjoy playing with it. In my opinion there isn’t too much fall out, but I guess depends on your technique. High coverage but easy to blend if you have the right brushes, the longevity I tried from 6am to 10pm and it was intact, I recommend using a type of oil to remove all glitter, since soap is not enough. Overall I would recommend you to buy it :).

This palette is a dark horse! It is so pigmented and versatile. Muted, grungy, swampy, all the mossy things. I love it! Pick it up!

I absolutely love nomad! Is officially one of my new favorite brands? I can't even explain how many pallets I have bought from them. But also, they make some of the coolest packaging, this one. In particular, the which city Salem? Oh, my gosh, just wait till you get the pallet. It is crazy looking, it is one of the coolest ones Directive, cam, yet they do everything they've got the best pigmented colors.The Aurora cruise is an amazing palette, but I've got plenty of my.It's hard not to buy them all l o , l , but thank you nomad cosmetics!
