This palette is gorgeous! I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life (Washington state and Oregon), and I think they nailed this concept.
The color story is so beautifully familiar: I see lichen and moss, tide pools, Puget Sound, the Oregon coast, sun hitting snow… and the shade names are excellent; ‘mountains are out’ is right! ☺️
The blues on the left side are so elegant and evocative of our rivers and sea. The greens are lovely and harmonious. The browns are super wearable and not overly warm like many browns out there; ‘foggy forest’ is my perfect base shade, and ‘Sasquatch sighting’ compliments it perfectly. I appreciate that pinks and purples are brought in through several shimmer shades and ‘perfect Pinot’, making this palette really versatile. And I have to say that the shimmers are extraordinary: complex, nuanced, and with just the right effect to match the name that inspired the shade. The mattes are also beautifully formulated, with a velvety feel and incredible color payoff.
I can’t really overstate what a good value this is for the money. Lots of palettes have like two or three winners, with the rest being ‘meh’ to unwearable. I can wear every shade in here in some way, and can make both daytime/casual and more glam looks without needing any other shadows.
Nomad makes great stuff, with excellent art and packaging design to boot; I love the themed embossing of each color. This is one of my very favorite palettes, from Nomad or from anyone.
