Love for the National Parks

According to James Bryce “the national park is the best idea America ever had” and we couldn’t agree more. From the snowy tips of the Rockies to the depths of Grand Canyon and from the shores of Acadia to the old-growth forests of Olympic, these natural wonders create a sense of awe and admiration.

A special destination, this launch represents so many memories as a kid trekking cross-country for weeks on end. The first trip was 35 years ago and I can still feel the excitement of spotting bison and elk in Yellowstone, the awe of driving through a huge redwood tree, and the sense of calm connection walking through the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah. Years later, after moving back to the US together, our first trips were exploring these parks - Grand Canyon, Smoky Mountains, the Tetons and so many more. And as we emerge to experience the summer of 2021, these parks feel more precious than ever - not just for this year but for years and generations to come!

For us, it is so important to keep the National Parks for people to enjoy now and for generations to come. That is why we are so proud to say that with the launch of the America's Parks Palette we will be supporting the National Park Foundation - the official charity of America's National Parks. And every purchase of the America’s Parks Palette helps us in that support! Together we will help the National Park Foundation protect wildlife and park lands, ensure the health and vibrancy of biologically diverse park environments, and connect people everywhere to the wonder of parks.

As Nomad Cosmetics, we have so far donated $3,500 to and are a member of the Champions Society donor group at the National Park Foundation. The sales of the America’s Parks Palette will continue to benefit this wonderful foundation for as long as as we offer this palette.

We are also striving to do what we can to protect our planet’s precious resources and keep it this beautiful place we love! Like our other products, America’s Parks formulas are 100% clean with  no talc, mineral oil, gluten, phthalates or parabens, and are cruelty-free and vegan. In addition, with this new launch we are very excited to share that America's Parks is our first palette that is 100% plastic-free and is made with over 80% recycled cardboard!

Having more eco-friendly elements and recycled material used in our products and supply chain is a focus of ours to continually improve and make better in the future.
